Terraced House with Lift

4 Bedrooms | 6 Bathrooms | Shell

Ornate facades are reminiscent of the Maltese homes in centuries gone by and this house is no exception. Measuring 425 square meters overall, this large semi-finished property can be found in Attard. It's being sold in shell form to allow home seekers to finish it to their exact taste.

With so much potential, this home could easily be transformed into a beautiful large family home or a boutique hotel. Set within an Urban Conservation Area, the surroundings are peaceful yet future owners have the advantage of being very close to the shops, bus stops and schools.

Though from first glance, this home does not appear at all wheelchair friendly - rest assured that a four-person elevator shaft will be installed, providing easy access to all floors.

The home is currently set up to accommodate four bedrooms and six bathrooms but it could easily be converted into a ten-bedroom and bathroom property if future owners wish.

The private roof is being sold with airspace and is split into two, with one side being used as a drying area and the other for entertaining purposes which includes a small private pool.

This home also offers a couple of optional garages which are not adjoining the property. They have a two to three car capacity at street level.

Attard is one of the so-called Three Villages, along with neighbouring Lija and Balzan. Many wealthy families built summer residences here in the early years of the 20th century, and the Three Villages are still considered an exclusive urban area.

Attard today is characterised by large villas and gardens, the most impressive of which is San Anton Palace built by Grand Master Antoine de Paule in the late 16th century. It is now the official residence of the President of Malta and is used for state functions. The gardens, open to the public, are a baroque masterpiece and oasis of green and calm. Nearby is the Ta' Qali Crafts Village, located on the old wartime airfield, and the National Stadium.

House prices in Attard are in the upper middle range, especially those in the tranquil villa area or near the green areas.
