Modern Duplex Penthouse with Good-Sized Terrace
Dingli is one of the least modified rural villages on the island, surrounded by mostly agricultural fields and the famous Dingli cliffs. Ideal for home seekers who would like to be away from the hustle and bustle but also enjoy a country walk.
Recently reduced in price from €527,966 to €516,664, the present owners originally bought two properties to make this beautiful penthouse a home and, from shell form, they finished it with modern decor and furniture. It has two entrances from the common parts and has a real fireplace installed in the middle of the home, ensuring the whole duplex is kept warm. Roof insulation has also been installed during the construction stage that yields lesser energy consumption.
Stepping through the entrance to this home, you are immediately drawn to the large shaded terrace, measuring around 25 square metres.
There is ample space here to install a pool if future owners so desire and it provides a perfect setting for entertaining guests and hosting BBQs.
Stepping inside this home, on the fourth floor, there's a comfortable sitting area which is separated by a white, wooden spiral staircase which connects the living and sleeping quarters.
The dining area is tastefully decorated with industrial-looking light fittings and the yellow chairs add a pop of colour to the space.
Just above the staircase is a skylight that allows natural light to filter through and create a bright and airy feel to the living areas.
The kitchen is found to the back of the home and is beautifully decorated with lots of storage space. There's a kitchen island/breakfast table and, from here, you can access a back balcony and savour the country views.
A gypsum wall with in-built shelving and space for the TV is just opposite the breakfast area.
Just behind the kitchen is a spare toilet/ laundry room. The current owners have the washing machine and tumble dryer here.
A balcony is located on the other side of the wall of this room, making hanging laundry an easier task.
The lower level of this home also receives lots of light, thanks to the skylight on the fourth floor. The open design of the staircase helps it to pass throughout the sleeping areas.
A large bedroom can be found on the right-hand side of the lower level with a balcony and an adjacent shower room.
Towards the left is another bedroom that is currently being utilised as a study and a storage space for clothes/shoes. This is followed by a nicely decorated small space, prior to entering the main bedroom.
The main bedroom is spacious and has two apertures leading onto a balcony.
An en-suite with a shower is located just as you enter the bedroom.
Just like the rest of this home, the main bedroom is well decorated and accommodates a walk-in wardrobe which is neatly tucked away just behind the bed itself.
This unique and beautiful property is being sold furnished and with airspace.

The village of Dingli lies on a plateau some 250 metres above sea level, just inland from the spectacular Dingli Cliffs. The area provides not only open sea views over the tiny, uninhabited isle of Filfla but also an excellent vantage point over Malta. From the cliffs, there are views inland of nearby Buskett Gardens and Verdala Palace.
The countryside here is ideal for walking. The streets around the parish church of St Mary are narrow and winding and typical of an old agricultural village. Around the outskirts are several prehistoric sites: the so-called 'cart ruts', unexplained parallel tracks hewn in the rock; and several megalithic structures.
House prices in Dingli are around the average for Malta. Residents benefit from access to the countryside and fresh air, and the cliffs bring trekkers and walkers, as well as adventure seekers for rock climbing and ziplining.
