Modern Two Bedroom Apartment

2 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms | Furnished

Dingli is one of the least modified rural villages on the island, surrounded by mostly agricultural fields and the famous Dingli cliffs. Ideal for home seekers who would like to be away from the hustle and bustle but also enjoy a country walk.

Currently acting as the sleeping quarters to a larger home, there is potential here to turn this space into a lovely two-bedroom apartment of its own, by converting the large main bedroom into an open-plan kitchen/living/dining area.

The open-plan would be found on the left-hand side and, on the right side of the entrance, the sleeping quarters, which will consist of two bedrooms and a bathroom.

There will be a balcony on each end of this home, ensuring lots of natural light. It's being sold semi-furnished and excludes conversion costs.

The village of Dingli lies on a plateau some 250 metres above sea level, just inland from the spectacular Dingli Cliffs. The area provides not only open sea views over the tiny, uninhabited isle of Filfla but also an excellent vantage point over Malta. From the cliffs, there are views inland of nearby Buskett Gardens and Verdala Palace.

The countryside here is ideal for walking. The streets around the parish church of St Mary are narrow and winding and typical of an old agricultural village. Around the outskirts are several prehistoric sites: the so-called 'cart ruts', unexplained parallel tracks hewn in the rock; and several megalithic structures.

House prices in Dingli are around the average for Malta. Residents benefit from access to the countryside and fresh air, and the cliffs bring trekkers and walkers, as well as adventure seekers for rock climbing and ziplining.
