DESCRIPTION

Mellieha is the village with the sandiest beaches on the island, where stairs instead of streets are common. It is also the link between Gozo and the rest of Malta.

This is a modern maisonette finished with the latest materials and wheelchair accessibility. It could be ideal as a private home or a rental investment.

The image above is of the area, not of this maisonette or its views.

Upon entering this cosy home you find yourself in a short corridor that leads to the combined open-plan kitchen/living/dining area, which is connected to a balcony with a small garden. The sleeping quarters are on the left.

Walking towards the back of the home, you can find the main bathroom on the right, followed by the first bedroom. Turning to the left, there is the main bedroom which has an en-suite. Another turn on the left leads into the third bedroom.

Both the third and main bedrooms lead onto a large, L-shaped outdoor space which brings in a lot of natural light and air to the left side of this home.

This maisonette measures 112 square metres internally and 47 square metres externally. It is being sold in shell form and will be available from December 2021.

ABOUT MELLIEHA

Mellieħa is a modern town noted for its large private villas and houses which have been built on land overlooking Għadira Bay. While the town has developed into a resort, it has managed to retain some of its rural character. It retains a quaint historic centre with narrow streets and stepped alleys. From the terrace of the Parish Church, there is a panoramic view over Mellieħa Bay and the surrounding countryside.

Mellieħa is home to a big and popular sandy beach and picnics area. The village is minutes away from the Gozo Ferry and Comino Ferry.

Some of the island’s top restaurants, according to TripAdvisor, can be found in Mellieħa. Amami serves Japanese food, it is known for some of the best, if not the best, sushi in the country. And Bouquet Garni is known for their fresh seafood.
