DESCRIPTION

This converted second-floor apartment is in Mosta and has recently been reduced in price from €292,000 to €275,000. Mosta is a popular town in the middle of Malta and easily navigated by bicycle on account of it being very flat. The famous Rotunda, which is now a basilica, has a dome that is claimed to be the largest in the world and a second world war shelter next to it.

This 140-square metre home is in a block of only two and is pet friendly. It can be found in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town.

Upon entering the apartment, you are in a spacious sitting/dining area with a small balcony bringing plenty of natural light into the space. One of the three bedrooms can be accessed from this room.

The kitchen is just behind the sitting/dining area and has the potential to accommodate the dining area which is currently in the front room. This would create more space to be utilised in the sitting room itself.

A small box room can be found on the right beyond the kitchen, a main bathroom on the left followed by the other two bedrooms. The main bedroom has an ensuite and gives access to the back balcony. A washroom is also included in this home.

The property shares ownership of the roof where you can see as far over as Mdina and the Mosta dome.

ABOUT MOSTA

Mosta lies at the heart of Malta, along the Great Fault that runs east-west across the Island. It is a busy market town and a popular shopping area, with a plethora of cafes and restaurants. At its centre is a magnificent domed church, said to be the third-largest unsupported church dome in Europe. In World War II, the Church took a direct hit from a German bomb during mass. The bomb pierced the dome but failed to explode. This event is now regarded as a miraculous intervention.

An important town that links villages like Mgarr, Mellieha, St Paul's Bay, Qawra and Bugibba to the central area, Mosta is the commercial hub of the north of the island. A large range of property types can be found with price brackets starting from medium range upwards.
