An old town, Luqa is probably best well known for its airport but there is much more to this area. With various cultural, sports, political and band clubs, there is plenty to see and do. It is here in Luqa that the feast of St. Andrew is celebrated halfway through summer with elaborate street decoration and lavish entertainment.

This 151-square metre modern apartment has a front terrace, an internal yard and a backyard.

Please note the image above is of the area, not of this apartment or its views.

Upon entering this home, an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room is connected to a front balcony and a corridor leads to the sleeping quarters.

The first room on the left is the main bathroom followed by the main bedroom which has an en-suite and access to an internal yard. Towards the back of the apartment are the second and third bedrooms which each have access to the backyard.

This apartment measures approximately 199 square metres internally and 32 externally and optional garages are available.

This property forms part of a project which is estimated to be finished by the end of September 2021.

The village gave its name to Malta's sole airport situated nearby, which for many years was known simply as Luqa Airport, before being named Malta International Airport. Its proximity to the airfield led to its near destruction in World War II, but luckily the village's two 15th century churches survived. House prices in Luqa are lower than average.
