Spacious Three Bedroom House with Pool
In the popular village of Xaghra, we can find this shell terraced house, spread out over three floors. Xaghra is one of the island's larger villages, with a vibrant and bustling square. Xaghra is home to the Ggantija temples, one of the oldest free-standing temples in the world. The closest bays are Marsalforn and the stunning Ramla il-Hamra.
The photo above is of the surrounding area and not the view from the house.
This fine home welcomes you onto its entrance hall, leading past the first bedroom, or perhaps if desired this room could serve the new owner nicely as on office. Moving along down the hallway, behind the first room is the landing and staircase leading to the first floor. Going further back there is a bathroom and a lift giving access to the basement garage and to the first and second floor. At the back of the property is the combined kitchen and dining area leading out onto a tranquil terrace.
Up to the first floor is a bedroom with an en-suite and balcony overlooking the front of this home. To the back of the first floor is the main bedroom with an en-suite, a walk-in wardrobe and a balcony overlooking the back of the house. Up on the second floor is a large space being proposed as a living area, which comes with a bathroom, a back balcony and a front terrace with a pool.
This will make a fine family home in one of the island's most popular villages. The house comes with a basement garage and is due to be completed by the end of June 2021. It is a ten-minute walk from the square and a ten-minute drive to both local bays.

Xaghra, the island’s second largest village, is located centrally to the northeast side of the island. Xaghra is a lively village perched on one of Gozo’s three hills.
It is probably the most popular village among tourists due to its historical heritage, myths, lively square and sandy red beach, Ramla il-Hamra. Xaghra is one of the earliest inhabited parts of Gozo, being home to the Ggantija megalithic temples which date back to the year 3600BC.
Xaghra has fascinating caves such as Calypso’s cave, where according to myth, Calypso kept Odysseus as a `prisoner of love’ for seven years.
The village church is dedicated to Our Lady of Victories, locally known as il-Bambina, celebrated on the 8th of September, one of Gozo’s last celebrated feasts in the year.
