Two Bedroom Maisonette in Dingli with Backyard

2 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms | Shell

At 250 metres above sea level, the village of Dingli is at one of the highest points of the island. Close to the Dingli Cliffs, seen above, this rural village offers a quaint, country lifestyle with a lot of fresh air, beautiful nature all around and plenty of space for walks all year round. This two-bedroom maisonette is at the entrance to Dingli.

This future home is being sold in shell form, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to complete it as they like.

The entrance to this home is via a shared front garden. Upon entering this three-bedroom maisonette, you are in the open plan living/kitchen/dining area.

Walking out of the open plan, you are in an L-shaped corridor leading to the two double bedrooms, separated by a small internal yard, and the main bathroom. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower and access to the backyard.

The backyard measures approximately 40 square metres and is big enough to give the new owners options for how to use it, as it would make both a lovely garden and an outdoor BBQ area for gathering friends and family.

The floor area is 155 square metres. Optional one-car garages are available in the block, accessed via the lift.

The village of Dingli lies on a plateau some 250 metres above sea level, just inland from the spectacular Dingli Cliffs. The area provides not only open sea views over the tiny, uninhabited isle of Filfla but also an excellent vantage point over Malta. From the cliffs, there are views inland of nearby Buskett Gardens and Verdala Palace.

The countryside here is ideal for walking. The streets around the parish church of St Mary are narrow and winding and typical of an old agricultural village. Around the outskirts are several prehistoric sites: the so-called 'cart ruts', unexplained parallel tracks hewn in the rock; and several megalithic structures.

House prices in Dingli are around the average for Malta. Residents benefit from access to the countryside and fresh air, and the cliffs bring trekkers and walkers, as well as adventure seekers for rock climbing and ziplining.
