Converted House of Character with Pool
Close to the main square of Sannat is this beautifully furnished, lovingly converted three-bedroom house.
This house has solar panels, air conditioning in all bedrooms and a street-level garage. This home is ready to be moved into.
Once past the front doors, you are greeted with a traditionally tiled hallway leading past elegant stairs through to the home's formal sitting area.
This home has a variety of traditional tiles, as well as some modern ones in the main bedroom. The home was sympathetically converted, keeping many traditional features while bringing everything to modern standards.
A single step from the sitting room takes you to the kitchen and dining room. Through lovely patio doors at the end of the dining room is a spacious pool area, complete with shower, barbeque and deck chairs.
Also on the ground floor and just off the kitchen is a 12 square metre courtyard and a washroom.
This quaint kitchen is replete with rustic charm. Small yet brightly lit, it is the heart of this house. A door to the right leads into the pool area.
Coming off the kitchen is this little courtyard that leads to a washroom.
The stairs on the ground floor lead past this colourful window to a split level terrace. Notice the little bathroom conveniently tucked away beneath these stairs.
Halfway up the stairs on the split level, a surprisingly large terrace leads to the first bedroom. This terrace overlooks the narrow courtyard connected to the kitchen.
The home has three bedrooms, each of which has its own personality and style. The romantic second bedroom, seen here, has a Juliet balcony that looks out over the pool.
The second bedroom has this darling little room connected to it. This would make a perfect reading nook or walk-in wardrobe.
The second bedroom also has this little balcony, which looks out over the front. Each bedroom's traditional tile flooring is perfectly suited to its layout and style.
This terrace is perfect for soaking up the sun and looks over the pool area.
This home, with its charming interior and large pool, could be a perfect holiday home for a family, or a full-time residence for some truly lucky people who can enjoy the benefits of the home year-round.

Sannat is a small rustic village on the island’s southern coast with just over 2,000 residents. It is home to the spectacular Ta' Ċenċcliffs that run along the same coastline and is popular for its ancient cart ruts, temples, dolmens and rich flora and fauna.
For many years, the village has been well known for lacemaking, so much so that in 1951 Queen Elizabeth II visited a house named ‘The Lace House’, which can be found in a small square called ‘Pjazza Tax-Xelina’.
The closest bay is Mgarr Ix-Xini, which lies in a picturesque gorge. Sannat’s charm has captured the heart of celebrities such as Billy Connolly, who has peacefully lived there, on and off, for years. Brad Pitt has even been known to hide out and relax in Rosina’s bar, located in one of Sannat’s small squares.
