Mosta lies at the heart of Malta, along the Great Fault that runs east-west across the Island. It is a busy market town and a popular shopping area, with a plethora of cafes and restaurants. At its centre is a magnificent domed church, said to be the third-largest unsupported church dome in Europe. In World War II, the Church took a direct hit from a German bomb during mass. The bomb pierced the dome but failed to explode. This event is now regarded as a miraculous intervention.
An important town that links villages like Mgarr, Mellieha, St Paul's Bay, Qawra and Bugibba to the central area, Mosta is the commercial hub of the north of the island. A large range of property types can be found with price brackets starting from medium range upwards.
